What’s the Job?
As a Senior Data Engineer on our team, you will be utilizing the most cutting-edge Big Data tools to help with building data pipelines and data migrations as we continue to grow and scale up. The team is using a large amount of data to make actionable insights and decisions in connection to subscription and transaction based data (in the hundreds of millions of dollars). We are a Python/Scala/Spark/AWS environment, and we are constantly on the lookout for the latest and best tools to advance our work.
This is a startup-like team that has a flat structure in a highly collaborative environment. There will be other data engineers you are working with, and you will be reporting directly to one of our Senior Directors of Data Engineering.

What Skills Do You Need?
• Must be an expert in Python or Scala
• Everything we do is in the cloud, so you must be experienced in AWS or GCP
• Strong preference for knowledge of Spark, Kafka is also great
