What is the job?
We are looking for a Director of Product and Customer Support to join our technical leadership staff. First and foremost you will be responsible for managing our Global Support Team. Currently there is a team of 8 in place with plans to grow to 11. You will be responsible for growth and hiring on a global scale as we expand in India and the APEC region.
In addition to oversight of the team, day-to-day operations include streamlining operations, rolling up your sleeves to handle escalations as they come in, shutting down fire drills, as well as procedural documentation, runbooks, and various miscellaneous projects.
What does our ideal candidate look like?
You are an experienced manager who has scaled a technical support staff from start-up to enterprise level. You bring strong technical aptitude and you have the ability to roll up your sleeves and be an in expert in product, not just a manager.
You bring a background working for technical organizations, and ideally have experience in streaming, video technology, or AdTech. You are an integrator and you understand technical implementations and the tools associated with such.
You bring excellent communication skills and customer service experience. You are a self-starter, with the ability to recognize red flags early on and neutralize problems.
Skills we are looking for include:
• Global team management: Experience leading a SaaS based organization
• Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, or another service system
• Strong technical aptitude: A degree in Information Technology or Engineering would be ideal
