We are a leading technology focused Hedge-Fund based in NYC, looking for a Data Engineer skilled in ETL processes and Data Pipeline design.

What is the job?

You will be building Big Data Pipelines using Python. We ingest over 30 TB of Data daily, a lot of which is Alternative Data. You will be on a team expected to deliver this Data quickly and cleanly. At your core, you are a software engineer who has developed a niche in Data Engineering. 

What skills do you bring to the table?

  • You have experience building Data Pipelines / ETL jobs, migrating and storing data etc.

  • Come from a Software / Backend Engineering background.

  • Python is your #1 programming language when building Data Pipelines.

  • Experience with the AWS platform is an added advantage

  • The ideal candidate will have experience at a top technology company or another Hedge-Fund

  • You must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (ideally from a top school)

  • This role cannot offer visa sponsorship

  • Total Compensation ranging from: $220,000 - $550,000 (Base Salary will not exceed $300,000)
