Back-End PHP Engineer

We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to join a rapidly growing early stage start-up! If you work extensively in the LAMP/PHP stack and want to make a major impact and own the back-end of a product on the ground floor, then please apply today!

The eCommerce space is quite competitive and we help our clients scale and grow their business. Our platform helps eCommerce brands scale their subscription based services while maintaining their current customers.

As our first dedicated Back-End Engineer, you will own a significant portion of our product. This includes all the core APIs that our customer base integrates with. You will design and develop APIs and Developer experience from the ground up. Your job will be integral to ensure a simple and delightful build experience on our platform.

In addition you will be an integral part of the business, helping to identify value opportunities, and prioritizing ongoing mission critical development projects.

 

What skills are we looking for?

  • 5 - 10 years of professional engineering experience

  • Expertise in PHP

  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Laravel

  • Extensive API development experience

  • Experience working at Scale developing performant software

  • Amazon Web Services

  • Creativity and Great Communication Skills
