Cyber Security and Compliance Manager

SALARY $200,000 + annual bonus

One of the highest performing charter schools in NY state is looking for a Leader of Cyber Security & Compliance to join their team. Nationally recognized for achieving outstanding academic results for students from all backgrounds and zip codes, this company has created an innovative K-12 school model that is preparing current and future generations of children with the tools and knowledge they need in order to succeed in school and in life.

The Leader of Security & Compliance will be responsible for creating an enterprise wide security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. The Success Academy Technology team manages a modern technology environment built around cloud and SaaS based applications, operates networking and in-school technologies across 47 school locations, and supports managed devices used by 3,000 SA employees and 20,000 SA scholars. This position will be based in the SA network office in Manhattan (10005).

What Skills We Are We Looking For?

  • 10 years experience in information security; 3 years minimum in a security leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to implement a security management program to meet the needs of a growing organization.
  • Expertise in building a comprehensive enterprise security assessment framework and working across the organization to build a sensible improvement plan
  • Bring a calm, professional demeanor while acting decisively and with urgency
