What's The Job?

 As a Data Engineer Manager you will design and build data platform components to backstop new products which include microservices, REST APIs and offline workflows at scale. In addition to data engineering, you will also lead the ML model architecture.


You'll be dealing with the data that comes with working with enterprise size companies. You will work closely with the data science team and collaborate daily with your product counterpart.


This is 70% hands-on that will also include managing a small team of data engineers (1 to start and over time the team will grow to 3 or 4 members).Our entire Engineering team is 40 total right now, and we all work hand in hand to ensure our company is on the cutting edge of technical development.

We create 'white-label' personalized e-commerce solutions for our clients to achieve predictable and recurring revenue. We enable our clients to move away from transactional commerce, and instead offer a true relationship commerce that their customers can't live without.We are 75+ team members right now, and are looking to scale to over 100 in the next 12 months as our growth / client acquisition demands it. We are located in downtown Manhattan, close to all the major subway lines.


What Skills Do You Need?

 • Ability to write production level code in Python.

• Cloud experience, ideally with GCP, but AWS is ok.

• If you have used Airflow and Spark in production that is a plus.

• Experience with Machine Learning Models 

Some Dev ops experience is a big plus!




• $150K - 200K base salary.
