What's The Job?

 

As a Data Scientist of our Investment Research Data Science team, you will be building advanced Machine Learning models using Alternative Data sets. We gather various Alternative Data sets from various sectors, and use them to derive alpha models and new approaches to our investment strategies. Your work will directly impact the business, and you will see your results in action.

 

Unlike traditional Hedge-Funds, we do not work in 'pods', but rather as one holistic Data Science team across the organization. Our environment is a lot more open and collaborate than our competitors.

We are based in New York, NY. While we are working remotely right now due to the pandemic, once we are back in the office this position will be on site. As such, we are open to New York Metro based applicants, and also applicants willing to relocate once it is safe to do so.

What Skills Do You Need?

 

  • 3-7 years professional experience.
  • You have built advanced Machine Learning models, put them into production, and seen significant success on the business end from their implementation.
  • You have generated data-driven insights from large and varied Alternative Data sets.
  • Exceptional education background. Masters degree  minimum, PhD preferred, in a Quantitative / STEM field.
  • Experience working at a Data provider is a big plus.

 

Compensation:

  • We will pay whatever it takes to secure the best talent available.
  • $200,000 - $350,000 Total Compensation (as a guide).
