How would you like to become the Director of Data Management for the Data & Analytics division of a world leading media and entertainment company? How would you like to lead a team that is intertwined with, and critical to, all our technology verticals?


What's The job?

As our Director of Data Management you will be directly involved with all our technology verticals across the entire organization. You be our Data visionary, roadmapping our enterprise data management plans. We have truly Big Data here, and your goal will be to ensure our Data moves as efficiently as possible, were it;s able to be shared easily and get to where our data professionals need it. You'll also be leading the efforts on where we store all this data. We are currently multi-cloud, and need you to ensure all this data connects seamlessly. You will oversee all Data Governance, and spearhead our move to bleeding-edge technology and infrastructure.

As a Director, you'll be tasked to recruit, train, and mentor the very best Data talent, ensuring your team and each individual reach their maximum potential. 

This position is temporarily remote due to the pandemic. This will be a fully on site position once the pandemic is over and it's safe to go back to the office.

We are a global media and entertainment company, located in Midtown Manhattan, that specializes in television, film, entertainment and theme parks. Our focus is on digital entertainment and online media distribution using the newest technologies. Even though we are a large organization, our technical teams operate more like a startup.


What Skills Do You Need?

  • You have people management experience.
  • Very experienced in the Data space (10+ years ideally).
  • You know Data Governance (GDPR, CCPA) inside out.
  • Experience with multi-cloud platforms/environments is desired (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake).
  • You must have previous experience using Collibra.
  • A combination of excellent technical and soft skills.
