Who Is the Company?

My client is a Series-B healthtech company that leverages machine learning and advanced analytics to help improve the decisions of companies to save money and make their members make healthier decisions.

At their core, my client is are a product and technology company, and more than 75% of their employees fall under these categories. This drives us a company.

My client is located in Downtown Denver and are nearing 100 employees, but you are able to work remotely. My client will likely be receiving their Series C round at the end of the year.

What Is The Job?

As the Director of Data Science, you will be managing a team of three PhD-level Data Scientists, and helping to triple that team by next year.

Their Director of Data Science will be involved in managing and overseeing the machine learning model creation of the team. In this role you will also be very involved in a customer-facing position.

This is a leadership role with a significant external and client-facing focus. This means you will be involved with meeting with clients, helping with presentations, and working with the sales team. You will also be involved with the company’s product and services team and involved with R&D and coming up with new innovations and helping to implement them.


• $225,000 - $250,000

• Very generous equity (Series-B) with significant upside

Who Are You?

• You should have experience in Data Science management.

• Your ideal background involves working with and developing products around health care data.

• Even if you don’t have healthcare data experience, you should have consumer behavior data experience, including targeting, optimization, and measurement.
