We are a household name in the fitness space and are growing at a very rapid pace. We are backed by many elite athletes from around the world, and take a very scientific approach to health and fitness. We are actively looking for a talented leader in the Mobile Software Engineering space to be our technical visionary as we grow and scale our organization. Though our brand has been in business for decades, this tech company is a spin-off that is only 1 year old. We have grown from 20 to 200 people in under 2 years! We are looking for someone to help our organization continue to scale and build elite products for our tech-first and forward-thinking team.


All of our mobile apps (Both Android and iOS) are React-based, so React or Native React will be a requirement. This is however a Director role, so there will be no coding involved. We need someone who will be the architect, visionary, and team builder in this space. You will manage a total of 10 staff, and most likely double the size of that team in the next 12 months!


What are we looking for in a Director of Mobile?

  • The Director of Mobile will be based out of NYC (though we are remote until it is safe to return to our office)
  • You have managed a team of at least 5+ engineers in the past
  • You have a very strong background in either React or React Native
  • You have been a part of the full lifecycle of developing a highly used and highly rated app in the past
  • You have several years of experience in managing mobile teams both on-site and off-shore
  • You have a passion for building things that help people
