We are an organization with a mission to bring differentiated math instruction to all learners. We pride ourselves on being instrumental in creating a generation of engaged learners who love math and are learning how to use it to make a difference in the world!

Teachers are at the forefront of helping us improve our curriculum and teacher’s love using our website in the classroom and at home! It allows them to help all their students learn a subject matter in math at their own pace, whether they need remediation or enrichment. We are a team of software engineers, creatives, and teachers who are working together to be disrupters and bring a love of math to all learners!

 

What is the job?

We are looking for a software engineer to join our engineering organization and help take our product to the next level. Joining at the Senior level means you will work in a hands-on capacity in a number of different ways.

Whether it is building out a new feature of our application on both the back-end and front-end or integrating the platform with 3rd party APIs, there is no shortage of new and engaging projects. In addition, you will work closely with Jr. members of the team aiding in code reviews and mentorship.

 

Who You Are You?

First and foremost you are dedicated to working at a mission driven organization. We are a laid back and passionate group of engineers who love math. You love math and you are aligned with our mission to bring math to all kids and make it engaging and fun.

You have 4 to 6 years of generalist experience as a full-stack engineer and you have a degree in computer science or another STEM field. You can work collaboratively across teams and you are able to provide leadership to junior engineers.

 

What Tech Skills Do You Need?

We are language agnostic when we look for new people to join (culture is a major factor!) and we love generalists, but our tech stack includes the following:

  • Javascript

  • Vue.js

  • Ruby-on-Rails

  • Postgres
