What Is The Job?
Our ideal candidate will have both a Data Engineering and software backgrounds and is product driven. As a lead Platform Engineer you will build platform features for our customers and Internal teams that provides external customers and our teams with queryable access to the billions of daily events that occur in the bidding platform. They operate a large-scale distributed system that ingests millions of events per second and applies business rules to process and provide the events to customers in real time. You will also be building Data Warehouses and ETL Pipelines at scale with Python, and tools such as Snowflake and Spark.
