Lead Data Engineer (Contract to Hire) Fully Remote

We are hiring a remote Lead Data Engineer to join our fast-growing startup in the Finance and Real-Estate space. If you are looking to take your Data Engineering experience and apply it to an exciting company that is a pioneer in this new market, then we want to hear from you.


What Is The Job?


As a remote Lead Data Engineer you will be designing and developing new features for our Data Pipelines and Warehouses. You posses a strong understanding of how to transform data. You will be responsible for our data processes, and help to ready the data for our Data Scientist's to use. You will be overseeing and mentoring a small team of engineers.


What Skills Do We Need?

  • Expert in Python and SQL
  • Experience using Airflow for automation / workflows.
  • Experience with cloud platforms especially AWS / Redshift
  • At least one year experience in a leadership position mentoring engineers.
  • If you have used Scala, Spark, and Segment IO, that is a nice plus!
  • 8+ years of SWE and DE experience


Who Are We?

We offer the first commercialized residential sale-leaseback program in the United States, essentially allowing homeowners access to their homes equity, without having to sell it.




  • Fully Remote
  • Contract to hire (potential to convert after 3 months, or you can stay on a long term contract)
  • $80 - $95 p/h
