What's The Job?

You will be the first Machine Learning Manager at our company due to our recent growth. You will be building and managing a small team of 4-6 Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists who are working on projects across the board for our technology company, including recommendation engines, marketing, product and other machine learning and data science related projects.

You will be part of the overall Data team, which includes other teams focused on Data Analytics and Data Engineering. You'll liaise closely with each of those teams, and all team manager report to the Head of Data.

This role is remote, but we are located in Silicon Valley. We are open to you working remotely or relocating for this position.

  • Base Salary of $200,000 - $225,000
  • Bonus of 15%
  • Full Benefits Package

 What Skills Do You Need?

  • Previous experience building Machine Learning teams from scratch.
  • Recent experience building out, testing, and modifying advanced machine learning models.
  • You have utilized real-time Data and deployed Machine Learning models on AWS infrastructure.
  • Tech Stack: Python (and it's ML packages), SQL.
  • Other tech requirements: Kubernetes, Docker and/or Terraform, and BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
