Platform Development Manager

Who are we?


We are a fully distributed team across the US and we are changing the online consumer lending space, and business for the good! Our platform allows consumers to pay over time for products they want without have to be constantly hit with interest and APR's. The product also touches on payments and eCommerce to a significant degree, though we are not primarily a payments company.


What is the job?


We need to scale and we are rearchitecting our already successful platform for scale in GO. Our microservice architecture is large and need someone who knows the ins and outs of K8's in production. A Platform development manager who can code and truly understands development is going to be integral to success in this role. You will manage a team of smart engineers and cross function between DevOps, SRE and Security.


What is our stack?


• AWS with some services in GCP - We are 100% in the cloud

• Golang - We would love a candidate who wants to learn Go or already knows it!

• Docker

• Kubernetes

• Running Istio in production (service mesh tool) due to our massive microservice presence


Who are you?


You are a highly technical hands on Platform development manager. You view infrastructure as code and seek to automate as much as possible. You bring experience in the following:


• Strong technical management skills

• Deep production AWS/GCP Experience

• Ability to code in one or more languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby

• Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio
