What's the Job?
You will be working with Big Data, the newest tools and hottest technologies. We like for you to be excited, in-the-know and always exploring the newest technologies available.
All this data is used to make actionable insights and decisions towards Advertising dollar allocations. Daily we are getting new data feeds that you will clean, organize & transform into a format that the analytics team can also use, as well feed the data into our pipeline.
You will report directly to the VP and be a part of an experienced and collaborative team of 6 that likes to be vocal, do stand-ups and bounce ideas off each other.
What Skills Do You Need?
• At least 4-5yrs experience as a Principal Software Engineer (Big Data).
• Experience with Spark, Big Data tool is necessary.
• Experience with Scala/Python/Java background.
• Experience using Spark Clusters & S3 Cloud.
• A Computer Science degree or related Engineering field.
• Experience working with Kafka streaming, Docker containerization and/or Kubernetes orchestration technologies is a major PLUS!
• $170,000 - $200,000
