We are a household name in the fitness space and are growing at a very rapid pace. We are backed by many elite athletes from around the world, and take a very scientific approach to health and fitness. We are actively looking for a talented Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin. Though our brand has been in business for decades, this tech company is a spin-off that is only 1 year old. We have grown from 20 to 200 people in under 2 years! 

Our app is a native Android application written in Kotlin that utilizes MVVM with Clean Architecture. We are looking for an Engineer who has strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity to experiment, a collaborator, eager to learn, and a commitment to building an engineering culture with our team! 

What Will the Senior Android Developer Do?

  • Build the Android part of our signature IoT product
  • Write clean, performant code
  • Collaborate, knowledge share, and communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the team
  • Create a culture of observability within the team
  • Work closely with UX designers, Product Managers, and Engineering Leadership to craft unique mobile experiences

Skills are we Looking for in a Senior Android Developer:

  • 5+ or more years of software development experience
  • Your working experience of Android design and development patterns
  • You have working experience programming in Kotlin and encouraging scalable patterns
  • You have experience working with RESTful APIs in an agile environment
  • You have a strong understanding of git and its popular branching models
  • You have experience working with unique form-factor devices
  • You have an understanding of testing and CI/CD practices
  • Any experience with GraphQL is a PLUS
  • You LOVE to tinker with anything that you can get your hands on!
