What's The Job?

We are a market-leading media and entertainment company with a Data Engineering Team that works like a start-up. Your focus will center around consumer data with the goal of better understanding brand and cross-brand audiences.

We have access to hundreds of millions of rows of household data. This data and your modeling are crucial to executing a long-range project and aligning audiences with advertisements.

As a Senior Data Engineer with us, you will work on both high-level strategy and day-to-day implementation, while partnering with executive engineering leadership.

We are temporarily remote, and even when we are back in office, this will be a partially remote role. We are open to candidates in the New York Metro area.


What Skills Do You Need?

  • You have several years experience building data pipelines using Spark with Scala API's

  • The ideal candidate loves to use Scala as their preferred language (but Java and Python are okay)

  • You have worked on software containerization, various cloud platforms, and SQL/NoSQL databases

  • You are a Software Engineer at heart, with a focus on Data Engineering more recently 

  • You have worked at a Big Data shop previously and preferably used data streaming tools such as Spark Streaming and Kafka

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
