Senior Data Engineer (Scala/Spark)
SALARY $150,000 - $200,000+

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build out our Data Analytics platform, a one stop shop that provides data transparency and data insights into financial markets using Technology. You will design and build systems that make Big Data simple, user-friendly and accessible to Investors.


What is the Job?

  • You will be re-designing our Big Data Application, building new Data Warehouse components from the ground up.
  • You will be working with unstructured Data and developing ETL Data Pipelines using best practices.
  • You will be completing Data Migrations from Azure to GCP.
  • Our ultimate goal is to consolidate multiple approaches by unifying them to create a Metadata Integration.

What Skills Do You Need?

  • 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer / Data Engineer
  • Scala with Spark
  • Airflow / Google Cloud Composer
  • Experience building ETL Data Pipelines to Data Warehouse & Data Lakes
  • Cloud Experience: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & Azure is preferred
  • Experience working with messy, unstructured Data
