Being a Technology leader at our organization means you are a combination of digital business leader and technology innovator, responsible for connecting tech to the core of what the company delivers and identifying new ways to use technology to solve problems for companies. You are motivated to partner with senior clients and advise them on how to reimagine and redesign their business with technology at the center. You understand exactly what questions to ask in order to get to the heart of a client’s challenges and greatest opportunities. You know how to set a roadmap for them and make recommendations for the best path forward.

What you will do:

  • Set a vision for projects and partner with intersectional teams and senior leaders to advise on the best roadmap to execute;

  • Help design a set of tools that enable us to efficiently prototype and pilot new offerings;

  • Evaluate frameworks and translate technological possibilities into practical outcomes, interpreting for technical and non-technical audiences alike;

  • Help complex technology organizations adapt to rapidly changing ways of working and business dynamics, with a focus on end-users;

  • Aid client-side tech (IT/MIS/Core business) leaders in learning new approaches and ways of working;

  • Demonstrate a wide breadth of knowledge across enterprise tech, various tech stacks and platforms [i.e. AWS, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe] and advise senior leadership on how to best leverage them to drive growth;

  • Play an integral advisory role on Proto’s own systems, partnering closely with our COO and CEO;

  • Hire and build a team of technology consultants, data scientists, and implementation specialists in emerging fields.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years technology experience, largely within a consultancy or agency environment;

  • 5+ years in a technical consulting role where you are managing diverse skill sets, identifying talent in new technologies, and focused on new applications of technology more than the tech itself;

  • 3+ years working in a data engineering, data science, and/or creative technologist role;

  • 3+ years in an engineering role, leading teams or contributing/writing code.

This role is 100% remote work-eligible through 2021. As of January 2022, all employees are expected to be vaccinated and work out of the office in NYC, located at Three World Trade. We would like for employees to plan to work from the office at least two days per week, and we will remain flexible on where and how people work
