We are an AI-powered code discovery engine. We offer a unique platform where Developers can search for any open-source code and have access to core information related to that code to improve productivity. We are transforming code searching to improve modern programming practices. We are hiring a Remote Senior Search Engineer that is passionate about transforming and leading the development of our code discovery platform!


What's The Job?

As a Senior Search Engineer, you will apply your search methods and expertise to guide the direction of our Product Development and Technology. You will help our Developers improve their code by searching through complex datasets, identifying relevance concepts & models and designing signals. You will experiment with and develop Prototypes, Tools and Methodology to optimize decision-making for Developers. You will use Machine Learning techniques to improve Software Development. You will also support the Data Team, reviewing code and mentoring the Junior Data Engineers.


What Skills Do You Need?

  • 5 years experience
  • ElasticSearch or Solr
  • Experience in Search Technologies and Information Retrieval
  • Experience building new Frameworks
  • Experience working with large Structured & Unstructured Datasets and Databases


Nice to have:

  • Jenkins, Github Actions or CircleCI
  • Experience with OnPrem Deployments
  • Computer Science Degree
