What is the job?
Our platform and SaaS product is truly one of a kind in the eCommerce world. We provide a sophisticated inventory management platform that is used by some of the largest names in the game.
As we scale out the team, we are looking to bring on a player / coach manager to take the reigns of the team. From a technology perspective you will be hands on and responsible for architecture, re-architecture, and feature development. The majority of your work will sway to the Front-End, however you will work on specific BE changes necessary to implement new solutions. It is highly important that this person has strong knowledge of both the BE and the Front-End.
From a managerial perspective you will be responsible for direct report management of the team. This includes 1 on 1s, reviews, code reviews, and most importantly driving implementation through your team, while testing and improving productivity. In addition, we are scaling this team out in 2021 and you will be responsible for hiring 2 more additional engineers.
What skills are we looking for?
• 7-12 years of Engineering experience with 3+ years of Management Experience
• True Full-Stack Engineering capabilities
• Expertise on the Front-End and Front-End deployment processes
• Strong Back-End Knowledge: Python and Node are major plusses!
• Python and Node on the BE are major plusses!
• Product focused experience
• Agile SDLC practices
