We are looking for a badass Python Engineer with extensive web-based API development to join one of the best start-up Adtech companies in country. If you know the Python DjangoREST framework, through and through and want to own our API that handles billions of requests, then check this out!
What is the job?
As our resident Python / DjangoREST expert you will take full ownership and leadership responsibilities surrounding our API. You guessed it, it is built in Python utilizing the DjangoREST framework!
This is not an infrastructure position. We need a Staff or Lead Level Back-End Web Application developer to run this. Our customers rely heavily on our API for their daily operations. It is your job to engineer scalable services to handle the immense amount of transactions and data our platform handles on a daily basis.
As we continue to grow and scale massively, you will be responsible for guiding the major architectural changes to our public REST API. This involves working closely with other engineers, product, design, and Data.
What skills MUST you have?
• Back-End web development in Python with experience developing scalable services
• Expertise in the Django and DjangoREST (you will be our in-house expert that engineers lean on for Django knowledge)
• Cloud based development with AWS
• Relational Databases: MySQL and/or Aurora
• Bachelors in Computer Science (MS strongly desired)
• Strong Computer Science Fundamentals
• Excellent knowledge of Software Architecture
• Great communication skills and a good personality!
