We are a very fast growing platform that powers some of the highest traffic websites on earth. Our web traffic consists of over 25 Billion messages monthly. We are using very cutting edge technology that is able to power real time interactions between brands and consumers.

We have a fully remote, full time position open for a Site Reliability Engineering Manager. Our ideal candidate will be able to build out our database reliability engineering team and be responsible for keeping the systems running smoothly that drive our platform. You will guarantee the reliability of all database products and be hands on with the teams goals!

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and be the strategic leader of the Database Reliability Engineering team
  • You will scale everything. We are growing really rapidly, and things happen very quickly.
  • You will improve the day to day workflows by increasing monitoring and visibility
  • With your team you will ensure the reliability of all database products
  • You will plan and manage the team initiatives, which you will help create

What Skills Do You Have?

  • You have 3+ years of managing a reliability focused infrastructure development team
  • Background of 2+ years as a Software, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
  • 2+ years of working with MongoDB or PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Proven ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, cost optimization, and project management
  • You are a visionary that understands that things need to be built at scale to truly grow
  • Can handle a high level of responsibility & accountability
  • Excellent communication skills and can work with a talented and diverse team
