We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team.
What is the job?
You are a Lead Back-End Engineer with strong technical leadership that can direct a team of other engineers. You will completely own our microservices for the entire demand side of the business. This includes a lot of greenfield development surrounding self service long, analytics, integration software and various other greenfield apps associated with our advertising arm.
Later, we would like you to slowly take over the entire microservice platform and handle the publisher side as well. You will be initially working with a pod of 2- 4 engineers and although there will be no direct reports initially the role is slated to move into leadership and gain direct reports. We operate in 2 week sprints and each pod includes a dedicated front-end developer and QA Engineer.
You will bring strong leadership skills, be highly collaborative and be able to lead the entire microservice ecosystem. This role is positioned for growth and you will be using your analytical skills to build from a greenfield environment and will have the opportunity to introduce new technology.
What technical skills do you bring to the table?
Java 8+ (potentially moving and migrating to Java 11)
You must be local to the New York area

We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:
Base salary up to $200,000 + 10% Bonus
We are currently remote, in New York City, and will be adopting a hybrid role onsite as needed.
