VP of Technology

We are one of the top high-end retail companies in the world which have a brand that most people in the fashion world can recognize easily.  We are over 40 years old, and are very profitable and not funded by a VC.  We have multiple retail sites in New York and New Jersey, as well as a very heavy e-commerce presence.   

What will the VP of Technology do?

We are looking to take the next step in our tech evolution by hiring a VP of Technology or a CTO depending on experience.  You will manage the company's entire tech strategy as well as tech staff.   Though we have a lean tech staff, they are very talented and are looking for a strong leader to be responsible for all of the company's design, development, and infrastructure projects.   You will be responsible for code reviews, architectural reviews, and design, as well as decisions of "build it or buy it".  

What type of experience are we looking for for a VP of Technology?

• 10+ Years working in technology
• 5+ years Managing Technology Staff
• Experience with Salesforce, JIRA, and GitHub
• E-Commerce or Retail Experience is required for this role
• The ability to create and stick to timelines and deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Be the tech visionary for our organization who can see emerging technology that will take us to the next level
