THE ROLE’S MISSION
Our engineers have developed a proprietary data management system) that is used in the majority of its Veterinary clinics by its doctors, nurses, and hospital managers every day. This software is critical to our ability to fulfill our mission of helping people and their pets when they need it most. The system covers a wide range of functionality in our hospitals, allowing doctors to write medical notes, and nurses to keep track of treatment times, collect payments from customers, and manage patient flow. The system is used by thousands of our employees every day, helping to drive the all that we do, end to end. Your mission will be to drive the end-to-end success of this critical product.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will take ownership of this product, guiding its short and long-term development. Your job will be focused on deeply understanding our employee needs, our customer needs, and our business needs. You will spend your time discussing hospital workflows with our doctors, discussing business needs with our corporate stakeholders, and defining requirements for our dev team. You will also help to coordinate communication and training with new hospitals who are onboarding to the system and . You will work collaboratively with a variety of teams including engineering, QA, medical, BI, marketing, legal, UX, and others, developing solutions collaboratively that satisfies all of these stakeholders while ultimately satisfying the needs of our employees and hospitals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
5+ years experience in software product management, or similar role, ideally in the software, retail, or veterinary health space
Ability to communicate and present in front of diverse audiences of any size and organizational level both in writing and verbally, virtually and in-person
Can work well independently to accomplish defined outcomes.
